Villa Cankaya is one of a pair of identical newly built 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom detached villas situated in lower Bellapais below the monastery and nestling in the slopes of the Besparmak mountain range. 

In nearby Kyrenia which is only 3 miles away you can experience the hustle and bustle of the ancient harbour, shops, many restaurants and bars. Bellapais village and monastery is approx. 1.5 miles.  The villa is approximately forty minutes drive from Ercan Airport and 1 hour from Larnaca Airport.

The villa is of an original high quality design, influenced by the owners, with picturesque sea and mountain views. The villa is in a peaceful setting and benefits from a private overflow pool and an elevated position. The large established garden has plenty of flowers and shrubs and is totally enclosed by a stone wall. All of the bedrooms are air-conditioned.

The villa sleeps six in 3 bedrooms, all of the bedrooms have air-conditioning.

On the first floor is the master bedroom which has a king sized bed, built in mirrored wardrobes, ceiling fan, bedside tables, dressing table and an en-suite bathroom with wc. From the balcony there are magnificent views of the sea and the mountains.

Also on the first floor you will find the family bathroom and one of the guest bedrooms, this bedroom has 2 single beds, built in wardrobes, dressing table and a bedside table.  From the balcony there are magnificent views of the sea and the mountains.

On the ground floor is the second guest bedroom this has 2 single beds, built in wardrobes and bedside table and an adjacent shower room with wc. From this bedroom there are views of the mountains.

The villa is double glazed throughout for those chilly winter days, it's main facilities include:-

  • A comfortably furnished living area with seating for seven. There is also a TV and DVD player, there are some books in the villa. There are patio doors leading to the outside area. From the living area are patio doors  leading to a large terraced area surrounded by extensive decorative wrought iron railings where you will find the elevated 10 x 5m overflow pool with Roman steps.

  • The Dining area overlooks the pool terrace and has a glass table with seating for six people and a ceiling fan above.

  • The kitchen is fully fitted with fridge/freezer, dishwasher, electric hob and oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, There is also a full crockery & utensils set.

  • There is a utility room leading off the kitchen in which there is a washing machine.

  • Outdoor facilities include a barbecue area sun loungers with cushions and a large patio table and parasol with seating for six for those lazy afternoons sipping drinks by the pool or for al fresco dining. Travertine staircases on both sides of the pool terrace give access to both the garden and the lower terrace.The owner also provides non breakable plates and glasses for use round the pool.
